Our team of volunteers and counselors are here to answer your questions, mentor or encourage you in whatever stage of life you find yourself in. Just send in your question and one of us will respond.
Volunteers Advisors
Women Today's team of volunteer advisors come form all walks of life. Each is carefully screened and all initial correspondance is monitored.
Women Today has three professional counsellors who assist us in answering some of the questions that require their expertise.
Carol Oleksiuk, M.A. in Counselling is currently working as a District Resource Counsellor in a local school district. She has several years experience working as a teacher and then counsellor at elementary and secondary levels. In addition to relationship counselling with couples, Carol has also led classes/workshops rainging from marriage preparation to marriage enrichment. She has facilitated several groups for women who have experienced abuse.
She truly has a heart for people and loves to meet with individuals on a 1-1 basis...nurturing and developing relationships with others. She has been married for over 27 years and has three adult children with whom she loves to spend time. Carol also loves reading, music, and nature - walking/hiking. She enjoys tennis and cycling, but has still not developed a liking for golf!
Dr. Ginger Gabriel, Ph.D., M.F.T., is an author and speaker as well as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. With Master of Arts degrees in counseling and missions and a Ph.D. in psychology, she has traveled to Asia, the Middle East and throughout North American giving her four-to fifteen-hour relationship and counseling skill-building seminars.
Her favorite pastimes are kayaking, quilting, hiking and reading novels. She is married to Dr. Stan Gabriel. They have three children and three grandchildren.
Lynette Hoy, NCC, LCPC, is a Marriage and Family Counselor and National Certified Counselor, author and speaker. She is the Executive Chair of the Chicagoland CBWC: Connecting Business Women to Christ organization. Lynette is co-founder of CounselCare Connection, P.C. providing online & office counseling for individuals, couples and families. Lynette regularly presents marriage, assertiveness, grief and divorce recovery, anger and stress management seminars.
